Before you start, make sure you have:
- ✅ Access to Jira Cloud (self-hosted not supported yet)
- ✅ Read permissions on projects you want to sync
- ✅ Your instance URL (e.g.,

Connection Process
Start Connection

In your Impulsum dashboard:

- Click “Integrations” in the sidebar menu
- Find the Jira Cloud card and click “Connect Jira”
- You’ll be redirected to Atlassian’s authorization page
Authorize Permissions

On the Atlassian authorization page:

- Select your Jira Cloud instance from the dropdown
- Review the requested permissions:
- 📋 Read projects and issues
- 👥 Read user information
- 🏃 Read sprints and boards
- 📊 Read project configurations
- Click “Accept” to authorize Impulsum
Confirm Connection

Back in Impulsum:

- Connection status will show “Connecting…”
- Initial synchronization starts automatically

Detailed Verification
❌ Common Issues
“Your Jira instance was not found”

Solution:
- Verify you’re using Jira Cloud (not Server/DC)
- Confirm the URL:
yourcompany.atlassian.net - Try opening the URL in your browser
- If the problem persists, contact support
“Insufficient permissions”

Solution:
- Contact your Jira administrator
- Request “Browse Projects” permissions
- Make sure you have access to the projects you want to sync
“Slow or incomplete synchronization”

- Large instances (1000+ issues) can take up to 15 minutes
- Check the status in Settings > Integrations
